terms of service

Last Updated: 27 May 2026

Welcome to Steros Construction. These Terms of Service outline the policies that apply to our construction, remodeling, restoration, and exterior improvement services, along with your use of our website and communication with our company. By requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms listed below.

Scope of Services

Steros Construction provides residential and commercial construction services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our services include remodeling, roofing, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, windows, doors, siding & trim, painting, and fire & water restoration. All work is completed using accepted construction practices with a focus on safety, workmanship, durability, and customer satisfaction.

Estimates and Project Agreements

Estimates

We reserve the right to adjust, postpone, or refuse services if job-site conditions, structural concerns, safety hazards, weather conditions, or unexpected circumstances affect the project. If project conditions require changes to the original scope of work, we will discuss those changes with the client and obtain approval before proceeding with additional work.

Project Approval

Project scheduling begins once the estimate or proposal has been approved in writing, including email confirmation, and any required deposit has been received. Approval confirms acceptance of the outlined services, pricing, and these Terms of Service.

Scheduling and Access

Steros Construction makes every effort to begin and complete projects within the estimated schedule. However, timelines may change due to weather, permit delays, material availability, inspections, subcontractor scheduling, or unforeseen property conditions. Clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, including access to utilities such as water and electricity when necessary for the completion of work.

Payment Terms

If project access is delayed, restricted, or postponed at the client’s request, additional labor, storage, or rescheduling fees may apply.

An upfront payment or deposit may be required prior to the start of work, with remaining balances due according to the payment schedule outlined in the project agreement unless otherwise stated in writing. Steros Construction accepts approved payment methods including cash, checks, and digital payments. Past-due balances may be subject to additional fees or interest where permitted by law.

Failure to submit payment may result in delayed services, suspension of ongoing work, or legal action to recover unpaid balances.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Removing or protecting personal belongings, furniture, valuables, and fragile items before work begins.

  • Informing our team of known structural, plumbing, electrical, moisture, or safety concerns prior to the start of the project.

  • Securing pets and maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and subcontractors.

  • Obtaining HOA approvals or permissions when applicable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or limitations of liability.

Warranties and Limitations

Steros Construction stands behind the quality of our workmanship and may provide a limited workmanship warranty depending on the service performed. Warranty coverage generally applies to installation or workmanship-related defects but does not cover issues caused by natural settling, structural movement, weather events, moisture intrusion, neglect, lack of maintenance, manufacturer defects, or conditions outside our control.

Material colors, textures, finishes, and product availability may vary slightly due to manufacturing differences or supply conditions. We cannot guarantee exact matches when repairs or additions are being made to existing materials or finishes.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients requesting project cancellations should provide notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Cancellations or significant scheduling changes after that timeframe may result in fees related to labor scheduling, material orders, permit processing, or project preparation costs already incurred.

Liability and Damages

While we take reasonable precautions to protect the property during construction, Steros Construction is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden structural issues, concealed water damage, mold, code violations, or problems caused by conditions beyond our control. Liability, when applicable, is limited to the value of the services provided under the signed agreement.

We encourage clients to review their homeowner’s or commercial insurance policies to understand available coverage related to property damage, restoration work, or construction-related claims.
